Open Question: My Ndrive Go (gps) says "Updating" after updates werre installed. Now what?

My Ndrive Go (GPS navigator) had some problems loading icons and voice files, so I ran an update through the Ndrive Agent and after about 8 hours, the page on my screen shows the progress has been completed. I get the message: Updates installed with success. If the software was updated, please restart the device. So the actual GPS screen says "updating" and it's been about 3 hours. Is this normal? Should I restart the device now, or should I wait several hours? It had installed about 16 updates haha! Thanks

Open Question: GSM MODULES FOR ELECTRONICS PROJECTS!?

Hello guys, I have started working on a project that will help track vehicles. I want to use a GPS module in conjunction with a suitable GSM module. The GPS module will get the location coordinates and the micro-controller will send the coordinates to a control center via SMS. I would like to know the GSM modules that are available and which one will better suite my project. Thank you!

Open Question: What is the possibly penalty for Receiving Stolen Property in Florida?

A friend of mine has been living in Florida for a couple of months now and he received a GPS system from a second party. Ultimately, having no use for the system, he attempted to sell it at a pawn shop and it turned out that it was stolen, which he allegedly was not aware of. Therefore, he was arrested and charged with receiving stolen property (other possible charges, I am not sure of). What are the possible penalties associated with this crime in the state of Florida? WRG, can you cite the information? And what determines 3rd degree felony or the misdemeanor?

Open Question: Should I get Samsung Toco Lite or Samsung Monte?

The toco lite is £20 cheaper and I think its just as good becuase Samsung Monte dosen't have a qwerty keyboard :( But not sure though because Samung monte has a GPS and has more stuff which do I pick??

Open Question: Is the Garmin GPS package shrink wrapped?

I ordered a Garmin nuvi 255 from an online vendor and the package that arrived was Not shrink wrapped. Also the GPS inside the package was not wrapped in plastic it was just in there. The manual had a print date of 2008. Has anyone purchased a Garmin GPS and do you recall if the package was shrink wrapped?

Open Question: why doesn't my gps work on 8900?

i am using a bb 8900 and i can't use telenav (or any other navigation app) it says something like can't detect gps location or something. in my advanced options it says DEVICE GPS and LOCATION on as well as LOCATION AIDING is ENABLED. I tried "refreshing gps" and it "fails" . What's going on with this? and how can I fix it?

Open Question: Can I charge my US GPS, MP3 player, etc in a European car's outlet?

I will be renting a car/van in Europe and I want to charge such devices without damaging them, of course. Will my US charger cords/adapters work in a European vehicle?
