GPS training device designed specifically for the cyclist. Light weight and waterproof the Edge 205, and 305 accurately monitors vertical profiles, climb and descent, altitude, speed, distance and time. The Edge 305 adds pedaling cadence, heart rate data and a barometric altimeter for more accurate altitude data. Because the Edge is GPS based, the information may be overlaid onto a cyclist's course map, including hills and curves, so the cyclist can easily analyze every aspect of a workout. Using the PC-based Training Center software, users may create their own workouts or use workout templates and download to their unit. The Training Center also offers interactive analysis tools that allow the user to chart performance.
